What would happen if you loved your neighbor as yourself. What is everyone did?

If I loved everyone the way I loved myself, I would treat everyone the same way. I already do treat people the way I would want to be treated and I treat myself better anyways. I give people second chances, I forgive people as I forgive myself, I try not to hurt myself or hurt others, I do what is best for me and others, well at least what I think is best and I except people to do the same. I treat everyone like they're actually human and not like they're some item or object I can use, hurt, or manipulate.
